Experience The Luxury of First and Business Class
Gracious greetings, globe-trotters! Welcome back and if this is your first time here, thanks for stopping in! My name is Aaron and I’m here, inviting you to unfurl your wings into the lap of luxury without draining your wallet. Yes, first and business class travel can be a slice of heaven that fits your budget! If I may, allow me to paint a picture of the experience. Curious? Read on…
The Boarding Gate to Paradise
Have you ever stood at a crowded gate and wanted to be among the first to board? You’re listening to the gate agent call out zones and of course first, you have disabled and active military. But beyond that, there are those with airline loyalty status and those with first class tickets. As a savvy traveler, let me whisk you through the experience. With the right credit card points strategy—think Chase Sapphire Reserve (my favorite points card if you haven’t noticed)—you might just find yourself first in line to board. Imagine the luxury of stowing your bag in the overhead bin without the elbow wrestling match. Or worse, having to find a bin at the opposite end of the aircraft leaving your disembarking mission even more complicated! I promise in the realm of first class this isn’t something you’d ever have to stress about. It’s a reality in the premium class, where tranquility begins before you even leave the ground.
Elevated Comfort and Cuisine
Once you’re comfortably seated in your personal haven, watch as flight attendants attend to your needs. Long before the plane has backed away from the jetway, you are graciously asked, “What quenches your thirst today?” A sparkling flute of champagne? Or perhaps an artfully crafted cocktail concocted with premium spirits, the effervescence of the bubbles dancing mischievously under your nose, a prelude to adventure. It’s yours.
Something delectable to eat? Menus offer gourmet meals. Breakfast, dinners and desserts to swoon for. And speaking for myself, you wont be left wanting more. The portions are filling! Oh, and should the lull of your peaceful retreat coax your eyes to close, fear not. Frantic waving to catch a passing cart is a thing of the past. A flight attendant will gently ensure you don’t miss your chosen feast—a courtesy rarely found when clipping the economy ticket. Your journey has barely begun, yet you’ve already tasted its richness.
“Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”
– Miriam Beard
Sleep Among The Clouds… Literally
Ah, the art of stretching out, a divine pleasure often unappreciated until one has been folded into the space of an economy seat for hours on end. As someone who stands at 6’2″, leg space is quite the luxury! On my last overseas journey, the contrast between the lie-flat seat and the sardine-can economy was stark. Nestled under a plush blanket, arriving at my destination, the revelation dawned upon me—I was refreshed. The irony didn’t escape me; often, we disembark only to realize we are more in need of respite than when we embarked on our sojourn. Not this time. This experience left me rejuvenated, ready to embrace the adventures that called me from the landscapes beneath the wings of my flight. Gone are the days when stepping off a plane you’ll feel like you need a vacation from your vacation. The lie-flat oasis in the sky opened a realm where rest and revival are as integral to the journey as the destinations themselves.
Fast Track to Wanderlust
Have you ever noticed that when you land, about 95% of the passengers immediately stand up? Maybe they’re stretching their legs. Maybe they’re anxious to move on to the next step of their trip. I don’t know… One thing is for certain: standing up isn’t going to get them off the plane any quicker. In first class, you’re not just first to board but also first to disembark. My fellow wanderers, if you think the privilege of disembarking ahead of the crowd is where the royal treatment ends, let me reveal another layer of the travel tapestry to you. Just wait until your bags are the first to appear on the carousel. Yes, priority baggage means spending less time in the artificial glow of the airport and more time immersed in your destination—breathing in the sea air, sauntering through cobblestone streets, or sipping that welcome drink as the sunset paints the sky in hues of fire. Every second is a breath of life into the soul of your wanderlust.
The Points and Miles Advantage
Now, this tapestry of travel luxury isn’t just a fantasy. It’s within reach, with a sprinkle of strategy and a dash of dedication to earning those travel rewards points. The Chase Sapphire Reserve card isn’t a piece of plastic; in reality, it’s metal (yes, it’s a metal credit card). It’s the alchemist’s stone of travel, transforming your ordinary experiences into a cavalcade of first-class privileges and opulent journeys. While there is a myriad of cards promising travel perk treasures, the Chase Sapphire Reserve consistently fills my travel coffers for me, ensuring each swipe brings me closer to yet another breathtaking sunset viewed from the plush seat of a luxury cabin.
Excelsior!
So where to from here? Gather those points, watch for those seat sales, and prepare for a journey worthy of your bucket list. First and business class aren’t just for daydreams—they’re for you, and the time to claim your seat is now.
Until our paths cross above the clouds, may your adventures be abundant, and may your travel comforts ascend to first-rate heights.

Hopefully I don’t come off as too bourgeois! I honestly have no issues with flying economy. So long as it’s a regional flight or a flight that isn’t any longer than 5 hours. Anything beyond that and I’m going to want 1st or business solely for the leg space! In the video above I was heading to São Paulo, Brazil. That flight was roughly 8 and a half hours.

It’s leaps and bounds better than sleeping upright with one of those neck pillows! Don’t get me wrong, do what you have to do to get by. But if you can help it, there wont be any need for those if you have a business or first class seat with lay flats! Cheers, irmão!
